I like sitting in a classroom. I like learning from a teacher and interacting with fellow students. And I like taking all the filler elective classes on subjects like, "songs of Native Americans" because I just think that kind of stuff is fascinating. Useless in the business world perhaps, but so much fun and fascinating to learn! I would have much preferred to go through one of the accelerated adult degree programs offered at one of Nashville's many universities. Even now I'm pining for the sitting-in-class-staring-out-the-window experience. However, the universities that offered degrees I wanted were far, far, far too expensive for me ($60,000 for a bachelor's degree? I don't think so). I would have been paying off school loans in my 70s. No thank you.

Today marks the beginning of a four to four and a half year journey of distance learning to gain a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. It is also the beginning of the fulfillment of a dream I’ve had for many years read the rest here
